Planning Resources:

Accommodation – I always check these three websites to see my options when booking hotels or apartments to stay in : Booking.com, Airbnb.com and Expedia.com (includes VRBO & Hotels.com)

Tours – When searching for activities and tours, I use Viator and Get Your Guide

Transportation – I stalk Google Flights for both domestic and international flights. For trains, Eurail for multi-day passes and Trainline for one-off train tickets. I often use Enterprise for rental cars, but will go with any reputable company that offers a good deal.

Poland’s Best Hidden Gem – Ulica Mariacka, a stunning street in Gdansk! Between the historic buildings, cobblestone road and cafes lining the street, it has such a romantic feel!

Alex’s Insider Tips

1
Craft Cocktails in Gdansk- the craft cocktail scene is incredible! So many different places to find your favorite cocktail, all with their own little twist on the classic speakeasy bar. The best part? The prices 🙂
2
Polish Zloti- despite being in the EU, Poland has its own currency.
3
Learn the History- Poland is full of history, whether you're in Krakow or Gdansk, you can find numerous opportunities to learn about it. From walking tours to museums to concentration camp tours, visiting Poland can teach you a lot and really open your eyes.
4
Vodka Tasting- the Polish love their vodka and you won't find a shortage of opportunities to try it during your visit!
