The Greek Islands are such a romantic and magical place to visit! I think people dream of one day visiting Mykonos and with good reason. The food is some of the best Greek food I’ve ever had and I love how quaint all the restaurants are. As someone who appreciates a quality craft cocktail, I am a big fan of the bars in Mykonos Town.
Mykonos is also known for its beach clubs and the insane party scene, but I have to say that I have never experienced that during my visits. I have only been to Mykonos during the shoulder season. First in April and another time in October. Would I recommend visiting in these months? Not particularly, but I think May or September would be perfect for those who want to enjoy the beauty of the island without as many crowds or parties.
Are you looking for a party scene? Then the summer months are when you should visit! Just beware of higher prices, larger crowds and from what I’ve heard, a bit rowdier of a time than I’ve had on Mykonos.
